I thought this blogging thing would be easy for a chatter-box like me, but it’s not! I joined the Daring Kitchen a couple of weeks ago, Feb will be my first challenge – very excited. No, I’m not going to give it away
My mother-in-law is coming to stay for the week, and food plans include – Blueberry Cheesecake, Pumpkin Pie, Venison Stir Fry (we’re addicted to this at the moment, and the next time I make it I’ll take some pics and post a recipe, it’s really fantastic), rabbit casserole (I hate the word ‘stew’, even if it is what the dish is, I’m calling it casserole, or ragout, anything but stew!!!
Uni is going well, never enough time, as usual.
Kids are going well – R. starts preschool next week, he’s excited, I’m freaking out. We’ve talked about it a lot, so hopefully he’ll be ok…..
New Years resolution has been going well, I’ve certainly been baking more! And have been eating a little more ethically – a little more. This will be a long process, which I know I said I’d write about, but today isn’t the day.

Good luck with your first Daring Baker’s challenge!
Looking forward to the venison recipes too – I don’t think I’ve even ever tried it let alone cooked it but I am curious…

I had a stiry fry again last night and completely forgot to take a pic – I need a sign or something in the kitchen to remind myself or something!
Looking forward to the DB challenge! Need to get my bum into gear!
